This healthy cookies and cream chocolate bar is so easy to make with only 5 ingredients and is paleo, vegan, gluten free and dairy free. The perfect healthy chocolate bar!
This cookies and cream bar is the perfect healthified version of a childhood classic. In fact, it was my favourite growing up soI am super excited to make this version that is free of any refined sugar or preservatives. You could also easily make this into a bark by pouring it onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
If you haven’t made your own oreos before it is super simple and I will leave the recipe here.
- 2 tbsp coconut butter
- 8 ounces cacao butter
- 1/4 cup paleo oreos, crushed
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp cacao nibs optional
Using a double broiler, melt the cacao butter, coconut butter, maple syrup and vanilla until smooth.
Remove from heat and allow to cool 10 minutes.
In a loaf pan, sprinkle the crushed oreos on the bottom. Follow with the melted chocolate.
Add in the cacao nibs on top if using.
Set in the freezer 20 minutes or until fully hardened.
