Healthy Taco Skillet (Paleo, Whole 30)

Ingredients
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 250g ground turkey
  • 2 cups broccoli or cauliflower rice
  • 2 tsp taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce (more if desired)
Optional
  • 2 tbsp green goddess dressing
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tbsp cilantro
Instructions
  1. Heat a pan to medium heat with the avocado oil and garlic, saute until fragrant. 

  2. Add in onion and cook until they are translucent. 

  3. Add in ground turkey and taco seasoning, cooking until meat is no longer pink, about 7-8 minutes. 

  4. Add in veggie rice and stir until cooked through. 

  5. Add in tomato sauce and heat through. 

  6. Finish off with green goddess dressing or avocado and fresh cilantro if desired.
